One of my biggest peeves with social media—especially Twitter—is that people post way too many links and not enough conversation-starters. I’ve certainly been guilty of this many times. This behavior has turned Twitter into what some folks call a “link farm.” All we see is link after link, which does nothing to keep us engaged on the platform.
So, I wanted to do something about it and I wanted to share what I’m doing with you. The solution is simple. Post more questions and respond to questions posted by others. Search for your favorite hashtags and see what people are talking about.
This post is about helping you ask the right targeted questions on Twitter, if you’re a marketer or if you’re looking to engage with marketers. So for starters, here are 25 simple questions I’ve developed that can be tweeted out by you and I.
If you see something you like, simply click on it and you’ll be ready to tweet it, with hashtags and all. Hopefully this will help you get the conversations flowing. Best of luck!
