How Nimble Is Changing the Way We Sell

How Nimble Is Changing the Way We Sell

Wow, a post about CRMs. How exciting! But seriously, if you’re even the slightest bit interested in finding the right Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for your needs, then keep reading.

Before we get to the main content, let me point out that I am in no way connected to Nimble, other than as a regular user of the product. I am not getting paid for this review. I simply want to share this tool with you, because it has worked so well for me.

Every business owner who manages a sales pipeline and every salesperson who deals with sales leads knows how important it is to use the right CRM.

However, when trying to decide on the right CRM, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed. I remember when I was researching new CRMs a while back, I quickly found over 20 different products to check out and compare. What was supposed to be an easy task of researching the best way to manage my leads turned into an all-day project.

But then, thanks to one simple tweet, I discovered Nimble, and never looked back since.

Nimble is a “Relationship Manager,” although many folks refer to it as a “Social CRM.” Whatever you call it, in my opinion, the folks behind Nimble are the first to really understand and deliver on the concept of social selling, which is a hot topic as of late.

To understand how Nimble is unique as a CRM, there’s no better place to start than with Nimble founder and CEO, Jon Ferrara, who says:

“People want to connect with real people, and they want to like the people they do business with. It’s through an emotional linkage with customers that we gain trust, really engage, and feel good as we succeed. Making the connections among contacts, communications, and activities—including social channels—turns a 2-D image into a fully developed person. With that view, you can begin to deepen the relationship. Social CRM is the glue that will help your business become a true social business.”

Nimble doesn’t try to be everything for everyone. They aren’t Salesforce, but then again, I never liked using Salesforce because it was way too complex for my needs.

What Nimble does try to do is deliver in three key areas that are vital to any sales pipeline. Nimble is smart, engaging, and fast. And best of all, Nimble syncs with your contacts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and Twitter!

But don’t take my word for it; Check out this quick video overview of the product:

Isn’t it awesome? Okay, I’m kind of a CRM geek for saying that, but seriously, Nimble can transform the way you do business.

Now is the time to latch on to the concept of social selling. We’re living in a very interesting age, and social media has changed the sales process forever. Nimble is taking social selling to the next level and they are just getting started!
